LARCH LAB was devised in November 2022, as an innovative response to support Social Enterprises seeking support from LARCH, but as yet unsure of their exact needs and requirements. This could range from further investigation on their business idea, their social purpose, trading, governance or understanding finance, therefore not ready for the current LARCH pathway.Â
The development of LARCH LAB has been tested successfully on 5 organisations already. It provides an individual/small group space to explore their history, current situation, and plans for their social enterprise, simultaneously providing direct coaching and mentoring activity alongside considering development potential within and without LARCH.

The process will begin with you having a series of sessions with an experienced consultant to explore the origins, current position and plans of your Social Enterprise (existing or embryonic). The consultant will then identify opportunities, areas for development, and potential gaps in thinking and planning roughly grouped around:
